NOTE: New Dates: 21-23 November.

We are pleased to promote the up and coming Thinking Theological Conference facilitated by Tearfund UK in cooperation with Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ), The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC), Living Waters Theological College, and The United Theological College of Zimbabwe (UTC).

What is ‘Thinking Theology’?

Thinking Theology gatherings provide space to reflect on what the Bible has to say about the pursuit of justice and the way in which Christians do development work. We believe that our theology shapes who we are and how we live as disciples, and that it should guide our work as well.

The gatherings aim to support theologians, church leaders and other Christian leaders working in relief and development, helping to envision and equip them for holistic mission.

What will the content focus on?

The programme for the gathering will focus particularly on family and leadership in the Zimbabwean context. Topics for discussion stem from the overarching themes of ‘Biblical foundations of the family’ and ‘Holistic leadership beyond the four walls of the church’. High-profile speakers will bring these topics to life and prompt discussion and learning, leading to a day of action planning.

Who are the organisers?

This gathering is organised by Zimbabwe Council of Churches, Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, Living Water Theological College, United Theological College and Tearfund.
